Amanda Fuller Out as Kristin Baxter, Molly Ephraim In for Last Man Standing's 7th Season
A New Face for the Baxter Family
When Last Man Standing opens upon its seventh season it is immediately apparent that a different actress plays Kristin Baxter, Mike and Vanessa Baxter's oldest daughter, an outdoorsy tomboy whose skills in hunting and fishing often put her father to shame. Amanda Fuller, who has played Kristin since the show’s inception in 2011, is out, and Molly Ephraim is in. The show has yet to comment on the change.
A Little Bit Country
Ephraim, 32, is best known for her role on ABC’s The Ranch alongside Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson. She also had a recurring role on HBO's The Newsroom and a starring roles in the films Paranormal Activity 2 and College Road Trip. She appeared in 12 episodes of Brockmire, an IFC baseball comedy, as Jules, the team owner’s daughter, before the show was canceled in 2020.
Fuller, meanwhile, is headed to Showtime’s Your Honor, a legal thriller starring Bryan Cranston. She’ll play his daughter-in-law.
Last Man Standing’s seventh season premieres on Fox on September 28, 2020.
