The 2023 US Open is set to offer a record $20 million in prize money, making it the richest purse in the tournament's history. The winner will take home a staggering $3.6 million, the largest single payout in golf history. The purse will be distributed among the top 60 finishers, with the last-place finisher receiving $30,000.
This year's tournament will be held at Los Angeles Country Club from June 15-18. It will be the first time that the US Open has been held in Los Angeles since 1948.
